MARBANC INTERNATIONAL APPOINTS DYLAN YOUNG AS GLOBAL BRAND AMBASSADOR

A major motor racing sponsorship deal has been struck between New York-based Marbanc International and upcoming Australian professional racing driver Dylan Young for the 2024 season.

The deal will see Dylan Young appointed as Marbanc’s Global Brand Ambassador ahead of his soon to be announced campaign in a prestigious Le Mans Championship in Europe, which will be a key stepping-stone toward Young’s goal of winning the internationally acclaimed Le Mans 24 hours event.

Melbourne-based Young was previously teammates with Mick Schumacher, son of the legendary Michael Schumacher, and has competed against numerous other current Formula 1 and Indy Car drivers.

A Partnership a Decade in the Making.

Partnership discussions were first held with a Marbanc representative in early 2014 when Young was still early in his career. However, his recent success in the 2019/2020 MRF Challenge Formula 3 Championship where he secured 2nd place in the Drivers’ Championship including three wins and nine podium finishes, backed up with further podiums and a strong showing in Europe the last few years renewed Marbanc’s interest in the strategic partnership.

Commenting on being appointed as Marbanc’s Global Brand Ambassador Dylan Young said:

"I am delighted to be working in partnership with Marbanc International to achieve my goal of racing in Le Mans. Marbanc’s values of courage, innovation and speed are a great brand alignment. Their team has been very professional and good to deal with and I look forward to actively representing Marbanc on the international circuit."

Marbanc International’s Group Chairman Michael Go commented:

"There is a natural fit for Marbanc to partner with Dylan. The fact he first reached out to one of our founding team members for sponsorship nearly a decade ago and since then has grown his career in a highly competitive, high-performance international sport is testament to his tenacity and determination. These are qualities we look for when making investments in businesses and management teams which is a strong brand alignment."

Marbanc will feature prominently on Young’s racewear and Le Mans Prototype race car, which will compete throughout Europe in Barcelona, Le Castellet, Le Mans, Spa, Mugello and Portimao.
