Dylan Young Racing is pleased to announce a partnership with Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat ahead of the Australian racing driver’s upcoming 2018 MRF Challenge Formula 3 campaign with races across Dubai and the Bahrain Formula 1 Circuit throughout November and December.
Formerly a banana plantation, Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat is located in the beautiful secluded region of Tweed Valley in northern New South Wales, Australia, close to both Byron Bay and the Gold Coast.
Set on 100 hectares, the retreat is bordered on three sides by World Heritage National Park and features 13 private architect-designed, superbly appointed bungalows placed discreetly in a spectacularly pristine Australian rainforest.
For both parties, there was a clear synergy between the need to refuel and recharge the mind and body and get off the track of such a fast paced lifestyle which Dylan leads.
Chris Ball, owner of the stunning & unique Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat, said, “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to support Dylan in his exciting career. His enthusiasm and ambition to succeed, reminds me of my own motivation in transforming a 250-acre, run-down resort in a threatened environment. Ten years on, we’ve created a luxurious resort, with private, secluded lodges, set within a restored and spectacular, original eco-system. After the fast & furious world of racing, Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat is the perfect place to come for relaxation and to appreciate the finer qualities of life”
Dylan Young, who will be racing with the logos of Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat onboard his race car, race suit & helmet, said “I’m extremely thrilled to have the support of Chris and the Crystal Creek Rainforest team. Like many people who live in the city, I live a fast paced life and whether you’re an elite athlete like myself or working hard in a regular job, it’s so crucial to get off the track and relax to clear your head. This is just about as important as the training and racing component to deliver success. I can’t wait to showcase what a beautiful retreat this is in Australia, my home country, and encourage those locally and globally who lead an action packed life to take the time to visit Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat with their loved ones as there is no better place to appreciate such a beautiful region whilst recharging the batteries. Motorsport is also making waves in creating eco friendly and innovative sustainable solutions that will improve the planet and this aligns perfectly with the efforts Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat are achieving in conserving the local environment.”
Dylan will be hoping to reap the rewards in his upcoming season, similarly to Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat who have won numerous awards including including the Australian Tourism Award for Unique Accommodation, three international environmental tourism awards and 17 regional tourism awards.
Dylan will be on track from November 15-17 at the Dubai Autodrome Circuit (5 races) and December 6-8 (5 races) at the Bahrain Formula 1 Circuit in the MRF Challenge Formula 3 Championship.
The MRF Challenge is a premier open-wheeler category across the region featuring some of the world’s best up and coming young drivers, competing in Formula 3 style cars at up to 250km/h.
More information on Dylan’s plans for the 2019 season will be released shortly.
